Who we are

The Latin-American and the Caribbean Community of Practice on Managing for Development Results (CoPLAC-MfDR) aims to share best practices, ideas and experiences among its members through active participation in virtual and face-to-face communication and learning, which will enable the development, execution and implementation of managing for development results in the region.
 
CoPLAC-MfDR is composed of groups of actors in eight networks:
 
1. Budgeting for Results, integrated by budget directors or the heads responsible for the design and execution of the national budget;
 
2. Monitoring and Evaluation, it brings together academicians and experts from the public and private sector around monitoring and evaluation issues in the region;
 
3. Parliamentarian Forum on MfDR, it gathers congressmen and congresswomen working in the budget committee of parliaments;
 
4. Subnational Governments, it includes the heads responsible for the design and execution of the budget and/or planning at state or municipal level;
 
5. Planning, integrated by ministers, vice ministers, secretaries and directors of planning in Latin American and Caribbean countries;
 
6. Private Sector, integrated by multinational private companies, small and medium size enterprises, think-tanks and knowledge centers from the private sector, and private sector associations;
 
7. National Public Investment Systems, it comprises the heads of the national public investment systems;
 
8. State-Owned Enterprises, integrated by institutions that coordinate and supervise the operation of public enterprises.
